So since I am overwhelmed with LEED info right now, and we are incorporating sustainability into our building, I am making a list of all the LEED credits we might be able to achieve for this project. I'm going to assume we can get all the prerequistes, and since we aren't going into huge detail about the mechanical systems, I'm only going to assume the two required points for the Energy and Atmosphere category. Credits we could achieve so far:
Sustainable Sites: 1, 2, 4.1, 4.2, 4.4, 5.1, 5.2, 6.1, 7.1, 7.2, 8 (11 total)
Water Efficiency: 1.1, 1.2, 2, 3.1, 3.2 (5 total)
Energy and Atmosphere: 1-worth 2 pts (2 total)
Materials and Resources: 2.1, 2.2, 3.1, 4.1, 4.2, 5.1, 7 (7 total)
Environmental Quality: 1, 2, 3.1, 4.1, 4.2, 5, 6.1, 8.1, 8.2 (9 total)
Innovation and Design: 2 (1 total)
Total 35 credits = LEED Silver
Since we have no budget and don't know anything about HVAC systems, it's hard to estimate the EA credits and percentages for the MR credits, but we are looking at materials that are recycled, regional, and salvaged. We have a 100% green roof, contributing to some SS credits, and since our building is very narrow, its possible to have views and daylight in much of the space (EQ c8). Once we get closer to the end, I will look at this again and see if we could implement more credits into our design.
